(minus one) Veterans Day

Today is a special day for veterans, but that's not to say we forget who are veterans are, what they did, and what they mean to us all other days of the year.

Here is a video in tribute to the many days of one veteran's life:

(Disclaimer: before playing, please note that this video is meant solely to be a tribute to Grandpa and is not meant to be upsetting. If the matter is still sensitive to you, watch this video at your own discretion. It's not scary or anything, it just may be a little sad...)

Matthew, that was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! What a tribute to a wonderful husband, father, and grandpa! He will forever be in our hearts, but it was wonderful seeing him and hearing his voice again. Thank you so much! Love, Mom

Matt, thank you so much for posting the montage of "papa"! I am so grateful for all the beautiful memories we all have of him and I will treasure all the pictures and video clips. Lets all remember that the next time we don't want to take a picture!! The pictures bring him back to us. I miss him and loved seeing and hearing him, thanks Matt, Love, Aunt Julie

It took me a few days to work up the courage to finally log onto the blog and watch the tribute to Grandpa. I'm glad I did. It was beautiful. Thank you, Matt, for bringing my dad back to me for a few moments. Laurie

Matt, very well done and very touching. Remember pain is all the more painful when it follows pleasure that is all the more pleasurable. Knowing and sharing with Grandpa Bob was a real pleasure.
