Winter Storm

Especially for you out-of-towners- here are some pictures of the damage two of our trees (an evergreen and Daniel's tree) recieved last night due to the winter storm. Snow days are a nice unexpected vacation, but at the expense of a tree?- I think I could have handled going to school one more day...

Matt
P.S. check out the video at the end of this post

I can't get the video to play! Has anyone else been able to view it? When I click on the play button, it just says "Loading..." but never gets past that point. Anyway, I can't believe you had a Snow Day! And I'm sorry about the damage to your tree, Daniel.

Same for me. Couldn't start the
video. I'm so glad thar Sara had the same problem. Now I don't feel so stupid. The pics were quite
beautiful and Daniel will get a new tree, stronger and hardier. Mom said possibly an oak. You can't beat that. I must say that I know many people were inconvenienced by the snow but it was like a magic wonderland when
you looked out our window.
